PIA hosts an energy efficiency seminar in Sydney

There is undoubtedly a strong motivation to reduce the amount of energy consumed in Australia and it has been identified that pumps and fans are major consumers of energy in industrialised countries.

Pump Industry Australia, in cooperation with E3 Committee, has organised a Seminar in Sydney to examine the potential impact of MEPS regulations currently being developed for pumps and fans. It will outline work being done overseas and examine methods for the reduction in energy consumed by such equipment.

Ten speakers from the Equipment specialists and User Groups will be covering topics related to optimal operating efficiency and drive efficiency, performance measurement and discussions on corrective action strategies.
